Day trip Todra Valley
Your day trip to Essaouira from Marrakech will start with a pick up from your Marrakech at 08h00 AM. You will first stop at the town of Chochaoua for a coffee break before you continue to Essaouira.
This journey gives you a special opportunity to see a great deal of Morocco all within one full day. It is the ideal trip for those who do not wish to spend a few nights sleeping out in the desert and want to be back in Marrakech for an evening eating out. The day begins early as we will be leaving Marrakech before 8.00 am and our drive will then take us across the High Atlas Mountains.
If you wish to get out of the noisy city and delve in the authentic and rural side of Morocco, we highly recommend this day trip. Atlas Mountains and Imlil day trip is one of the most breathtaking day trips from Marrakech. It will take you on a journey full of wonders and adventures. Our day trip will start at 09am from Marrakech by a 4*4 vehicle or minivan for 2 hours’ drive south up the Moulay Brahim Gorges, and the Berber village of Asni very popular for its weekly market every Saturday.
Visiting the three valleys would be the best thing a person can do in Marrakech. It is a full day trip and yet marvelous, you will have a chance to see some of the stunning highlights in the Atlas Mountains. In the morning, the trip starts at 8:30am with the driver waiting next to your accommodation in Marrakech. After, we will be heading to Ourika valley about an hour drive from the Marrakech, famous by its waterfalls, of course if you wish to visit the waterfalls our guide will be delighted to show you the area.
After breakfast, we set off to the city of Walili known as Voulibilis, which is a Roman ruin dating back to 2000 years and was also declared as a world heritage in 1994. After that, we continue to the city of the founder of the first dynasty in the kingdom, Moulay Idriss who spread Islam in Morocco, then we go en route to the imperial city of Meknes, known as the Ismaili city referring to its founder King Moulay Ismail in the 17 century.Return to Fes in the evening.
