Health Project in Nepal

Due to the lack of health care education, medical services, medical resources and most of the country’s health care centers are centralized in the capital and few other cities of the country, the majority of Nepal’s people experience severe health problems. A Majority of the rural people in the country are unable to receive proper health treatment service due to the lack of sufficient treatment centers and health workers in rural areas. Still huge number of Nepalese people never receives proper health care. Most of the Nepalese cannot afford to visit doctors as the doctor fee is highly expensive to these poor people. And on top of everything, most of the doctors are stationed in the hospitals of Kathmandu and running their own clinics in posh areas depriving the simple and poor rural villagers deprived of any medical attention. The state run heath centers also lack medical resources.
This health project benefits hundreds and thousands of people who have never had the opportunity to receive proper health care. This project of Inventive Voluneer Project Nepal is an endeavor to reach the needy and disadvantaged people in Nepal.
Many Nepalese are still deprived of health care benefits. The situation in rural areas is even worst in the absence of doctors and other medical staffs. The state run health centers established to provide health care to the villagers are very poor in resources and also under staffed. Qualified volunteers are needed to reach these needy people and address their problems.
Moreover, the doctor-patient ratio is very poor, with one doctor caring for approximately 16,000 patients-even in cities. The lack of availability of qualified health care workers has resulted in many health problems in Nepal.
We have standing requests from local facilities for Internists, Urologists, Surgeons, Oncologists, Opthamologists, Nurses, Dentists, and EMT's. You will play a critical role in the villages and towns where you'll serve.
